Complete these steps to apply for the Federal Stafford Loan, Graduate Plus Loan, Pharmacy Health Profession Student Loan and Loans for Disadvantaged Students. Continuing students must meet all deadlines and eligibility requirements to be considered for need-based financial aid.
To continue receiving financial aid at the USC School of Pharmacy, you must maintain satisfactory academic progress and not be in default on prior loans.
February 14, 2020 – Complete FAFSA
Complete the 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
How to complete the FAFSA
- USC’s Federal School Code is 001328.
- Complete all student sections.
- For those who were awarded the Pharmacy Health Profession Student Loan (HPSL), please complete both the student and parent information sections on the FAFSA. When completing your FAFSA you can use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to complete the income section on your FAFSA.
February 14, 2020 – Complete the Financial Aid Supplement
Complete the Financial Aid Supplement. To complete the form, please log in to Financial Aid Summary and Tasks (FAST) at https://my.usc.edu/portal/guest.php. You can find the form in the document library.
March 13, 2020 – Submit Federal Tax Returns
If you received the Pharmacy Health Profession Student Loan in the previous year, you must submit a copy of your (and your spouse’s, if applicable) and your parents’ 2018 1040 Federal Tax Returns including W2s.
To submit your documents, log in to Financial Aid Summary and Tasks (FAST) at https://my.usc.edu/portal/guest.php.
If additional information is requested from you, respond within 10 days.
