At the 2018 CPhA Western Pharmacy Exchange, faculty from the USC School of Pharmacy collected a number of significant awards and faculty and students led numerous presentations. The meeting took place in San Diego, April 13 – 15.
Faculty Awards
Melissa J. Durham, PharmD, MACM, BCACP, DAIPM, was honored as 2018 Cardinal Health Generation Rx Champion winner and presented the meeting’s opening keynote address, “Stuck in the Middle: Pharmacists and the Opioid Crisis.” Richard H. Dang, PharmD, APh, BCACP, received the 2018 CPhA Distinguished New Practitioner award. Bradley R. Williams, PharmD, was recognized as 2018 CPhA Hall of Fame inductee. Finally, Mel Baron, PharmD, MPA was honored as a CPhA Life Member.
