Joyce Bensman


Dr. Joyce Bensman, PharmD BCPS is an emergency medicine specialist at LAC+USC Medical Center and joined the USC School of Pharmacy as adjunct assistant professor in 2016. She currently serves as a co-coordinator for the USC/LAC+USC PGY1 pharmacy residency program. Dr. Bensman received her BA from UC Berkeley in molecular and cell biology (2006) and her PharmD from USC School of Pharmacy (2011). She went on to complete her residency training at UCSF and her post-doctoral research training at USC Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Bensman is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist. She practices in a level 1 trauma center in the emergency department with a focus on resuscitation pharmacotherapy.
