Rory O'Callaghan Kim is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy. After receiving her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Kansas in May 2008, Dr. Kim moved to Los Angeles to pursue her post-doctoral training at USC. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Ambulatory Care in 2009 and a Fellowship in Ambulatory Care and Academia in 2010.
After completion of her post-doctoral training, she accepted a position with USC as a clinical pharmacist implementing comprehensive medication management programs into safety net clinics in Los Angeles. She was hired as a faculty member at USC in July 2013. She is currently the residency program director for the PGY1 Ambulatory Care residency. She is the course co-coordinator for the Pharmacy Literature Analysis & Drug Information course as well as the Health Care Needs for Special Populations Elective. She is the Chair of the PharmD Scholarly Project Committee. Dr. Kim received a Master of Academic Medicine from the Keck School of Medicine in 2018.
