Emily Han received her PharmD from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy in 2001. Upon completing her Pharmacy Practice Residency at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center in 2002, she pursued a fellowship in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in anti-infectives at USC Mann in 2003.

Han joined the clinical faculty in 2003. Her clinical role includes caring for patients in cardio-thoracic intensive care unit and medical intensive care unit. She is an active member of the insulin-error-reduction team at Keck Hospital of USC, working with members from other disciplines to provide better control of hyperglycemia in critically ill patients.
