Class of 2017 Grads Secure Postgraduate Residencies

76.5% of USC School of Pharmacy students in the graduating class of 2017 who applied for the residency matching program secured a postgraduate year-one residency program (PGY-1).

The national average for students matching to a postgraduate pharmacy residency program is 68.85% this year.

Additionally, the USC School of Pharmacy match rate increased to 76.5% this year, a jump from 72% last year, significantly higher than the national average.

Members of the USC School of Pharmacy Class of 2017 matched with 39 different residency programs, and two secured out-of state pharmacy residencies in Houston, Texas and Portland, Oregon.
