Doctorate in Regulatory Science
In 2008, the USC School of Pharmacy launched a new professional doctoral program in Regulatory Science (DRSc), the first of its kind in the world. The professional doctorate is a novel, specialized program of study that cultivates research, leadership and inquiry skills in advanced students pursuing the emerging profession of global regulatory science.
Curriculum focuses on product lifestyle strategy, project and personnel management, and global regulatory strategy and policy. The program requires all students to visit regulatory agencies and leaders internationally in both Europe and Asia. To date, the program has accepted 28 DRSc students, all of whom are leaders in their field.
