Healthcare Decision Analysis is an emerging branch of applied healthcare research at the intersection of health economics, applied international health policy, insurance design and competitive business intelligence and pricing. The Master’s Program in Healthcare Decision Analysis (HCDA) is an intensive, interdisciplinary program that will prepare students for professional roles that demand technical skills and analytical abilities to address healthcare product value, access and reimbursement issues.
This unique program provides an opportunity for mid-career working professionals, international students and highly motivated new graduates to enter a field in which current managed market payers, the pharmaceutical and device industries, healthcare systems and government cannot find sufficient qualified individuals and technically skilled leaders to meet demand.
The HCDA program at USC will offer students unique networking opportunities through our internationally recognized faculty and exposure to lecturers and mentors spanning the global business and scientific communities.
Graduates with pharmacy and medical professional degrees, graduate or undergraduate degrees in related applied sciences, economics and business, and working professionals from the pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device industries are invited to apply.
HCDA is offered in collaboration with the USC School of Pharmacy and the USC Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics.
