Continuing Professional Development

USC School of Pharmacy’s Office of CPD’s Mission and Goals:

  • USC’s office of Continuing Professional Development’s mission is to provide pharmacists with the education and skills needed to provide excellent patient care.
  • Our goals include (in order of priority):
    • Develop programs tailored to the lifelong learning and advanced practice needs of alumni, preceptors, and other supporters (voluntary faculty, QSAD members).
    • Contribute to the visibility and impact of USC School of Pharmacy locally, nationally and internationally through high quality educational programming.
    • Develop innovative educational programs that may be of interest to a diverse range of healthcare professionals (nurses, physicians, allied health professions and pharmacy technicians), although non-pharmacists are not our target audience.
