In the News: Leonard Schaeffer and Dana Goldman on Affordable Care Act

USC Trustee Leonard D. Schaeffer and Dana Goldman, professor of public policy, pharmacy and economics at USC, authored an op-ed in the Sacramento Bee on how California’s implementation of the Affordable Care Act can provide a model for the rest of the country.

“Congress has an opportunity to establish a long-term political legacy with viable health reform legislation in cooperation with the private sector. To make it work, they will need the nation’s health plans as fully committed partners, just as they are in California,” they wrote.
