Dr. Chan is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Southern California. She currently provides patient care and clinical services to Hematology-Oncology patients at the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center & Hospital. Dr. Chan provides lectures to third year students on Breast and Prostate Cancer. Dr. Chan's areas of expertise include symptom management in Hematology-Oncology/Stem Cell Transplantation patients, Breast and Prostate Cancer, and Leukemia and Lymphoma.
Dr. Chan received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from USC School of Pharmacy in 1993. She then completed a residency in Clinical Practice at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 1994. Dr. Chan then went on and completed a specialty residency in Hematology-Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco in 1995. Since then, Dr. Chan has worked as a Clinical Pharmacist in the Hematology-Oncology/Bone Marrow & Stem Cell Transplantation Unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and as a Clinical Pharmacist at the UCLA/Jonnson Comprehensive Cancer Center before joining the faculty of the USC School of Pharmacy in May 2001.
