Women's health, with a special interest in emergency contraception, and educational methods for higher education, including clinical experience programs.

Biography

Kathleen Hill-Besinque is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Director of Professional Experience Programs and the Office for Teaching and Learning Resources at USC School of Pharmacy. Dr. Besinque received her B.S. in zoology from California State University in Long Beach and her Pharm.D. and M.S.Ed. from the University of Southern California. After receiving her Pharm.D., she completed a residency in ambulatory care at the Veterans' Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Los Angeles.

She practices in the area of outpatient community-based women's health, including emergency contraception and menopause therapies. In addition to her clinical practice areas, she coordinates the placement of students in practice-based experiences and develops teaching sites for the Doctor of Pharmacy program.
