Flexible Pharmacy Staffing has a long term care pharmacy client with an open position for a Licensed Pharmacist in Mountain View, California.

Shift Details: 
– M-F 12pm-8:30pm
– Weekends 1:30pm-10pm

Job Functions: 
– Ensure the accuracy and completeness of orders as entered by pharmacy staff
– Perform Drug Utilization Reviews
– Screen for Drug Interactions
– Monitor for appropriate dose and directions of medication, collaborating with physician, nursing, and other medical staff when necessary
– Review packaged medications for accuracy and completeness prior to shipment for delivery

Scottsdale Shea Medical Center is a 433-bed Acute Care Facility providing services for Bone Marrow Transplant, Critical Care, Medical/Surgical Oncology, Pediatrics, Level III Neonatal ICU, Bariatrics, Orthopedics, and General Oncology.

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and Pharmacy Leadership Team, the Critical Care Clinical Specialist provides expertise in clinical activities relating to critical care clinical programs for the pharmacy department in order to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Critical Care Clinical Specialist will facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of programs that promote desirable patient care through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies.

Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years hospital practice experience with strong clinical pharmacy background or PGY1 ASHP-accredited residency trained.  Pharmacy residency precepting experience.

Preferred Experience: 2+ years critical care OR oncology practice experience or PGY2 Critical Care OR Oncology residency trained.
