Launched in the fall of 2009 at the King Drew Medical Magnet High School in the Los Angeles Unified School District, the program involves regular pharmacy-focused education sessions to teach students about possibilities in the field of pharmacy. In addition to King Drew, the program is also currently offered at Bravo Medical Magnet, Stern Math and Science, 32nd Street/USC MAST Magnet and California Academy of Mathematics & Science. Planning is underway to add more schools to the program in the coming months.

As graduates of the Pharmacy Explorers Program enter college, the Collegiate Pipeline Program ensures that relationships are maintained with the students and support is provided to them. The program encourages students to achieve academic success and guides them through application and admission to the USC School of Pharmacy.
